'PEACE' OF PIZZA ! Pizza Slice Illustration using Procreate

The one thing I missed the most during this lockdown time is 'A slice of pizza'.

It's the comfort food. Ya, I know there is no such thing as comfort food exists. But seriously, when I am sad or in the mood to treat myself or just have treat or simply to enjoy , the one food I love the most is pizza.

Yes, I tried making it at home. And it turned out yummy and healthy.

But not like Domino's or any other restaurant.

When I eat an Italian style cheesy slice of pizza, it feels completely like 'PEACE' OF PIZZA :-)
I hope you understand what I mean.

I always eat a veggies pizza. No meat for me. But when it comes to illustration, A pizza is always a pepperoni pizza.

The challenges here in this illustration were the melting cheese,the the red contrasting pepperoni, the greesy or oily highlights on it, the thicker crust , saucy edge and most importantly blending all together. And I did it, I loved how this illustration turned out. Hope you will love it too.

This was in my list for very long time. I was simply not drawing it. Yes , it should have been among the very first illustrations when I started. But some how never drawn it. So today I though , what could be better time than today? And I did it. It tuned out well. I have a habit to keep 10 things uncomplete and start with new. That increses the anxiety. Yes, I did many changes and used my own brushes.

Today I draw Full Moon Night illustration using Procreate. No tutorial followed,No reference image. It's completely designed and drawn by me. Wow ! That feeling is awesome. First time I am feeling confident and artist like , if you are too a beginner like me you may get what i am talking about. During these times (2020 Pandemics - We are locked down for more that 40 days ) this was most needed. Hope you will like it. Here is colour variation of the same drawing.
