Early candles were made from beeswax.
Typically, a wick of fibers was dipped into a vat of melted wax. The wax was allowed to cool, then dipped again; this was repeated until the candle reached the desired size.
Later, candles were made from whale oil or petroleum derivatives.
Today, most candles employ synthetic oils or plant oils.
My sweet memories of candle are Birthday Candles. I love to blow them before anyone does that for me.
Now a days candles come in different sizes, shapes , colours and fragrances.
But when you say Candle the very first image comes in the mind is this old fashioned candle. That is what I decided to draw today.I had loads of fun making it.
Hope you will love it.
