Are Your Dreams Big Enough?

Hey Friend,

Today I am going to share a question from Pooja and she writes;
“Hey Sheetal,
I am a simple girl!
I don’t want to change the world, which you talk about a lot!
My dreams are not big.
I don't want a big car or a lot of people working for me or become CEO or somebody. I'm interested in a life with a really good, steady income.
I like to do my own work with my small team while still having enough time with my family.
So in general, is it a bad idea to have small dreams?”
Great question Pooja. Thank you so much for asking it.

Now it’s your turn! Do you think your dream is small too?
If so then here is good news for you!!!
But let me clear some air before I dig into it.

Hey Girl,
Your world can be as small as one person and that person can be “Just You”.
The important part is bringing up some change or solving some problem!

You have to define your own world!
It can be ‘Just You’ or ‘You and ‘Your Family’ or ‘Your Community’ or the ‘Whole World’ in the actual sense!
It’s your choice.
You are the one who is going to define how big impact you want to leave behind you!
I hope that helped!!!

Now let’s get to the crux of the real topic
We women are more likely to care for others.
It’s always,
“What people will say?”
“How my hubby will react?”
“Whether my son will like it?”
Will this make my MIL happy?”  (Which we know never)

The same is applicable to our ambitions and dreams.

Don’t give a damn what other people think about how you should live your life or build your business. They have other things do to in their life and if they don’t then at least you have.

Don’t spend your precious life, trying to live to some made up standard about, how big you should dream.

Back in the day, we were all taught to dream, we should get good marks, and a good job and we should get a family, a house, have some security, and play it safe.
We all know, gone are those days. There is nothing called job security now.

These days many of us are starting their own venture and having big ambitious dreams.

Now it’s common belief, that if you don't dream really huge, somehow you're not ambitious enough, you're not smart enough, and you're not valuable enough in this world.
This idea is totally and absolutely not true.
Small dream shame is total ‘B**S** ’.

For so many people, dreaming big is actually crushing their soul.
They are running behind some shiny goals and money all the time to fulfil Big dreams. Sometimes unfortunately these are not their own dreams.
That leads to unsatisfied life.

And you are going to build not only profitable but a fulfilling business.
So Big Dream or Small Dream, it really doesn’t matter.
It is all about what is going to make you happy and satisfied.

The important thing is having clarity about “What your dreams are?” no matter the size or scope.
Your dream is valuable and perfect as exactly it is.
So just go for it with your full heart!
For now, I'd love to hear from you.
Tell me, Are you clear about your dream? Are you really proud of your dream?
