May be daily workout or…
You are planning to conduct that particular
workshop/course for which you are creating material for long or…
Let me guess planning to start your own business.
But all these come under ‘Planned’ category.
The simple reasons that might be holding you back are,
You are waiting for the perfect day to start the
diet or exercise
Or you are not doing it simply because you feel
you are not ready yet or it is not yet perfect.
It can be anything
perfect time, perfect opportunity or perfect workshop, perfect unpublished book
or perfect business idea.
You are not
moving ahead and that exact state is “Perfection Paralysis”

Now it’s time for confession. Let me be honest.
I had written atleast 10 blogs before I published
the first one.
Every time I used to feel it is just not perfect
yet.
I can write better or how about an audio or video?
It was not happening at all.
Then I thought , ”What’s good ? Dying with ‘one Perfect article, half-finished’ which
people are not aware or 100’s of published ‘not so perfect articles’ which few
may not like but few may like them ”
And I made my choice.
This is my 26th published article.
This might not be my best or perfect article but it
is completed & published.
Now tell me are you suffering from perfection
paralysis?
I will make
it easy for you. Here are four symptoms

1. Procrastination
You find yourself cleaning the house, the fridge,
the pantry, your wardrobe, cooking, baking; shopping… You can always find
something to do…
But no time for exercise! You are too busy!
You are waiting for the perfect day or time to
start it!
2. Bright
shiny objects
Bingo! Finally you started finishing that content
for your brand new workshop.
Guess what? Other exciting things seem to pop up
at the same time.
Friends invite you over for dinner, weekend guests,
the new most amazing dessert cafĂ©, your anniversary, kiddos birthday…. and they
all seem so much more interesting than a boring workshop slideshow.
3. Social
media or TV.
How many times a day do you check Facebook,
whatsapp, email or find yourself watching ridiculous shows on TV that you never
would have watched in a million years?
The sad thing is, if you spent a quarter of the
time on getting your new change started, you’d have finished it by now.
4. I’ll do
it tomorrow
These are the words that eventually lead to a
chronic condition of ‘perfection paralysis’, because as we know, tomorrow never
comes.
If you are suffering
from any of the above symptoms, then sadly to admit, you are a victim of ‘Perfection
Paralysis’.
So, what to do now?
Yes there
is a cure! Infact there is only one cure
It’s very obvious and you might have heard me
saying this ‘Nike’ punch many times,
JUST DO IT!
Just start now, where you are at…
The conditions are never ever going to be perfect.
You are perfect right now, with all that you have…
your shoes, your weight, your ingredients, your intellect, your knowledge… you
are ready to start…
JUST DO IT NOW.
